Fiscal cliff deal: House OKs proposal despite GOP objections
Wed Jan 2, 2013
I'm asking every American (regardless of income level) to send a message to Congress and the White House. When you return to work tomorrow morning, after the long holiday weekend, be sure to fill out a new W-4 form and submit it to your payroll office.
Here's another 'fiscal cliff' worry: tax-filing delays
Sat Dec 29, 2012
If I'm getting a refund, I file as soon as possible. If I owe, I wait to mail it in until April 15. Congress doesn't deserve one extra cen
Romney's health plan, war kept out of RNC spotlight
Fri Aug 31, 2012
I have shifted between Democrat and Independent over the years, as I am a social liberal but fiscal moderate. In my opinion, Barack Obama has not made one decent case for why he deserves re-election. He entered office with both houses of Congress controlled by his party.
Mormons stash away for social safety net
Wed Aug 22, 2012
I'm not affiliated with any religion, as I believe science can explain everything about how the world works and where it came from. However, the Mormons' principles of self-sufficiency and personal responsibility can be applied by anyone.

Obama's autos task force meets with Chrysler
Wed Feb 25, 2009
Perhaps if Chrysler stopped designing and selling such unreliable, unrefined, and ugly gas guzzlers, they might sell more cars. Instead, they push outdated, oversized, unreliable junk such as the Magnum, 300, Pacifica, and Durango/Aspen. It's amazing how Honda and Toyota can yield more power, mor …
